Practice Mode
Low-stakes re-enformcement learning. Run infinite retries, inspect masked etymological root clues (e.g., 'helico' + 'pter'), and listen to contextual audio prompts. Practice mode allows experimentation without altering your test streaks or status badges - they way your learn best!
Test Mode
Blind, high-stakes evaluation - to simulate real world usage. You hear the audio prompt via our native text-to-speech engine and view the cloze sentence with the target word masked ('The _____ hovered over the landing pad.'). No hints, no immediate retries.
Etymological Correction
Upon submitting an answer, the full historical etymology is unmasked. If you make an error, the system exposes the root components to correct the underlying structural logic instead of forcing brute-force memorization.
